Practical Electronics Engineer
About The Position
Nuvoton Israel, located in Herzliya, is a leading supplier of SoCs, microcontrollers, and security hardware solutions for tier-1 customers in the computing and server domains.
We are looking for a skilled, hands-on Practical Electronics Engineer to join our hardware team and play a key role in the quality assurance and validation of our internally designed boards and custom chips.
What you'll do:
- Run full QA cycles on all internally designed boards, ensuring reliability and conformance to spec
- Debug failing boards
- Work with and manage subcontractors, primarily board assembly houses — coordinating schedules, quality standards, and deliverables
- Act as symbol librarian — create and maintain schematic symbols in OrCAD
- Build and configure lab and PC setup environments; diagnose and resolve software, OS, driver, and hardware failures
Requirements
- Practical Electronics Engineer / Electrical Technician / Electrical Engineering - Must
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in board QA and debug - Must
- Team player with a service-oriented mindset and the ability to work effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders – Must
- Proven proficiency with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, power supplies, logic analyzers, and related tools – Must
- Solid knowledge of OrCAD — Must
- Strong PC skills: OS installation, software & driver management, hardware troubleshooting — Must
- High level of independence, ownership, and organizational skills – Must
- Experience working with board assembly houses or other subcontractors — advantage
